EROAD Fleet Management Software Releases & New Features – June 2023

We’ve integrated one of EROAD’s top-rated features – the truck, traffic and satellite map layer into our route planning and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) tool.

Now, when you want to plan a route or check a vehicle’s ETA, you can get an accurate and compliant route for your vehicle and load type by simply changing the route filters.

Fleet managers and dispatchers can now be more confident in the suggested routes and journey times, knowing that important restrictions have been accounted for – such as truck weight, height, width, and hazardous materials that are hauled.

We’ve also added the ability to select common routes to avoid, such as; tolls, tunnels, difficult turns, and more.

Key highlights:

• Truck specific routing that considers vehicle weight and dimension restrictions
• Avoid common obstacles like difficult turns and controlled access roads
• Comply with road regulations including hazardous load restrictions
• Plan routes ahead of time with configurable start points and multiple stops
• Easily re-order stops
• Get realistic arrival times with live traffic insight
• Easily access the tool and previous searches directly from the map, address search, and ETA tab

Hyperlapse is an exciting new feature that can simplify incident investigation. It’s available now for all EROAD Clarity Solo and Connected customers.

Hyperlapse lets customers view up to 15 minutes of footage in 2 minutes! It’s great for investigating non-triggered events or longer incidents across multiple clips. It can even be used to provide evidence of operational delays to customers.

Hyperlapse footage can easily be accessed through MyEROAD Replay > Request Video.

• Select vehicle, date, starting time, etc
• Click on the dropdown menu for “Duration and Quality”
• Select the timeframe that works for you – 5, 10, or 15 minutes
• Request the video!

We’ve added several enhancements to our Clarity Dashcams to reduce manual work and further streamline the process to improve your drivers’ safety, provide greater visibility into coaching opportunities, and easily identify high-risk driving behaviors.

Please note, some of these enhancements will require an administrator to activate the features and will not be turned on automatically.

• Categorise safety events with tags for easy review
• Receive emails when your drivers manually trigger safety events
• Automatically log drivers off when ignition is turned off
• Audible reminder for drivers to log-in
